Hello everyone. New to the team. I am a quilter. The problem right now is we are trying to remodel a kitchen and bath so no time for quilting but I think of it often! I have my UFOs to finish.

I have a beautiful desk that is just a flat table I put in the middle of my sewing room. I had my husband put plexiglass on it so I wouldn't damage it with my cutting etc. Makes the room feel elegant but useful.

I really don't know how i'd manage without my table, so i empathize with you! But it is a great feeling to finish things I started a while back and just left in the middle of the project (for whatever reason). It does motivate you when you finish a project to start a new one! Keeping my hands busy on crafts keeps the snacks away from my mouth! LOL!

Hi Everyone.

New to this team. Are there any Quilters in here. I have made about a dozen or sew (Pun intended) for family and friends. Working on one for me now. Almost done. Saw a really cute pattern for Quilted Christmas Tree yesterday Going to be my next project.

LOL! You sound like me. If the material is still good and you're losing weight there is nothing wrong with pintucks & even a little restyling. What style of dress are you working on?

I have, but most are wool blends or more expensive than Joanns... So I'm sticking with linen and cotton for now.

Hello? Hello? Echo?

Since I just found this group, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have a question. Does anyone know where to get good quality wool at a decent price? I know where to get linen and cotton, but I would LOVE to get my hands on wool that isn't 50% polyester or $15 a yard.
