SHERRE - SO GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK. I HOPE YOUR LEG CONTINUES TO IMPROVE BUT IF YOU FIND IT REDDER OR MORE SWOLLEN OR PAINFUL TOMORROW GET BACK IN TO A DOCTOR. DON'T EVEN WAIT UNTIL MONDAY. A LOT CAN HAPPEN IN A COUPLE OF DAYS.

I WAS DOING REALLY WELL, EXERCISING AND NO SNACKS. I LOST 5.5 LBS IN THE FIRST 2 WEEKS AND THEN I SLIPPED UP AGAIN AND NOW I AM STRUGGLING TO KEEP IT OFF. I AM IN A FAIR BIT OF PAIN AND SO TIRED I COULD SLEEP & SLEEP TODAY. EASIER TO STAY ON TRACK WHEN I AM FEELING GOOD.

WELL........... WEDNESDAY WAS MY LAST DAY FOR THE IV........ I SEEN MY OWN DOCTOR AND SHE SENT ME HOME WITH STUFF THAT IS JUST LIKE THE IV TO TAKE 4 TIMES A DAY SO WILL SEE HOW THAT WORKS.... I DID NOTICE MY LEG IS GETTING RED..... AND A BIT OF SWELLING...... I WON'T WAIT LONG THIS TIME...... I WILL GO RIGHT INTO OUR WALK IN AND SEE WHATEVER DOCTOR IS THERE...... I was a pound lighter when I stepped on scale yesterday morning. I attended arthritis pool class today and jogged in pool afterwards. Did some errands too.

Willow...Congratulations on 13 days without snacks. Good to read your energy increased.

I jogged two hours in the pool today. I haven't been doing great with eating since I keep getting sick from constantly changing weather. I was fine yesterday. Slept with cpap and woke with stuffy nose that changed to runny. Throat started in next. Took Mucinex fast max and couldn't stay awake. Took four hours for my energy to return. I had brunch instead of breakfast and lunch. Exercised this afternoon. Then, dinner when I returned home. Heartburn followed dinner, which was probably due to magnesium capsule dissolving in my mouth before I drank water. Low calorie ice cream is the only thing that does away with my heartburn. So, I had some of it before news started.

Good to see everyone doing well. I am on day 13 and am very happy that I have been able to stick to it this time. Usually I am lucky if I can make a week but I seem to have more determination this time and as the days go by I have more energy which just reinforces my dtermination to not have any snacks. I know I can do this. I believe in myself.

SHERRE - SO SORRY TO HEAR YOU STILL HAVE TO GO FOR THE IV. AND MORE MEDS AS WELL. I REMEMBER WHEN LYNN HAD THE INFECTION IN HER LEG SHE HAD TO LAY DOWN WITH HER LEG UP FOR A MINIMUM OF 1 HOUR TWICE A DAY. SURE DO HOPE THEY GET IT UNDER CONTROL SOON. SUCH A DRAG TO HAVE THAT GOING ON WHEN IT IS SUMMER AND SO MUCH YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE DOING OUTSIDE.

GWYN - SORRY YOU ARE HAVING SO MANY BAD DAYS WITH FOOD AND EXERCISE. ONE OF MY MOTTOS IS "IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME". THIS IS DAY 10 FOR ME OF BEING WITHIN MY CALORIES OF BETWEEN 1,000 AND 1,200. I HAVE BEEN DOING EXTRA EXERCISE AS WELL. I ALSO HAVE NOT EATEN ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF MEALTIME. ONLY WATER AND TEA. HOPE TO HAVE 5 POUNDS OFF BY THE END OF JULY.

exercised -- swam for 20 minutes
only went over calories by 75 -- had a lot of zero point foods

MY CHALLENGE WILL BE TO GET MORE EXERCISE. I WANT TO DO 10 MINUTES A DAY ON MY NU-STEP. I HAVE STOPPED SNACKS COMPLETELY SO HOPEFULLY WITH MORE EXERCISE I WILL FINALLY SEE THE SCALE MOVING DOWNWARDS.
