I didn't hit my goal of reaching 200 but I lost weight during this challenge. I had been on such a long, annoying plateau that I was excited that I dropped any weight at all. I'm only 7 pounds away from onederland! Congrats to all the ladies who met their goals or made some progress. You all rock!!!

emoticon To all those that met their goals or beat them. Loca, amazing on losing 75 lbs this challenge, what a life changer for you. For those that struggled with the challenge, I hope that you keep trying and enjoy the little victories. Sometimes the number on the scale doesn't seem to reflect your efforts, but making healthier decisions every day does help in ways beyond the scale. Never give up on yourself or your dreams.

As for names for the next challenge, I like Gingerbread Girls, Turkey Trot is also nice. But to participate I shall throw out a few too-

I really like the idea of having a new challenge. It'll help me keep accountable for the holidays and I really like the idea of having it until New Year's Day. I think Valentine's Day is so far away although it would be ok to have it be Valentine's Day also. I guess if it goes all the way to Valentine's Day, it would be good to break it up into mini-goals like the Firecracker Challenge.

Anyways, I don't think I'll be making my goal by 3lbs! Omygoodness, I had a rough week a couple of weeks ago but, you know what? I'm ok with it. You know why? Because I really did try very hard during this challenge, I really did. I did the mini-challenge to finish strong and I worked out every day since I started at the beginning of October so, you know what? I didn't make my goal by 6lbs but, I'm ok with it because since this morning, I am officially in the 270's!!! Omygoodness, it feels so great. I'll weigh in again on Monday to have the official weigh-in for the end of the challenge. Maybe I can lose at least half a pound more from here until then. That would be awesome!

I hope everyone else did really great in this challenge. Good luck on the next one. I'm ready to start the new challenge and to kick butt. Are you with me?

I am reposting here because it took forever for me to find my original post, so I thought it would be easier for Nixie to find it here.

I am officially finished the challenge!!! I did my monthly weigh in today and I was 11lbs Done!! I didn't make my goal of 470lbs... but I only missed it by 6lbs!

I can't wait to see how everyone else did...I know everyone did great!!

YAY!! Welcome back Mistress Nixie!! Im so glad to see you, sorry that you had a rough few weeks :(

Im also posting my final weigh in today.... I have been stuck in a darn plateau for 3 weeks now, not gaining, not losing anything but inches... well FINALLY i found a edge of my plateau and jumped! I lost 6lbs last week!!! I havent stopped dancing around since i weighed in!!

So i am very please to say, that i have MET my final Sext Beast goal of 317lbs. Down 75lbs from when i started out in June!! (Pics in my blog, and sparkpage) I feel amazing! And i want to thank you Mistress Nixie and everyone else in the Done grils team for being such wonderful support systems, and for helping me through the tougher times.

Just a mini announcement about what's going on and such.


This challenge is nearly at the end and I have a LOT of work to do reading through posts and finding out who made goals and more. There are prizes for this challenge, hope you didn't forget (cause I definitely did NOT!)... hehe :)
From my original post:
"The "biggest loser" for this challenge can choose either a Jillian Michaels exercise DVD box set (with Cardio Kickboxing, Frontside, and Backside) OR a Discover Bellydance with Michelle Joyce: Strength and Toning DVD OR Coach Nicole's The Spark: Fit Firm and Fired Up in 10 minutes a day DVD. Second place winner (or loser, I mean :p ) will get to choose from the remaining 2 DVD's after the winner has selected."
I also have a Brita water bottle that could be a prize. "Winner/Losers" will just have to choose their prize!


I just read through and wow, so many of you are kicking butt and that's amazing. There are some of us that didn't do so well (and that's ok, too!). The point is, we stuck together, we did what we could, we learned, and now the next one will be better! :)

Speaking of "the next one"... I am thinking a MUCH shorter challenge this time. Yes? Maybe something from November 1st until New Years Day? That would be 9 weeks. Or.. we could take it until Valentine's Day (15 weeks?) if you wanted, but I think that's starting to stretch it a bit.

We can always have a short challenge, then make another one when that one is nearly finished. Sounds pretty good to me, but... I want to make sure it's something you all want also, so... lets get some opinions, some naming ideas, and our juice flowing. I am ready to jump into a good new challenge and tackle it! PLUS, I think I need something to keep me focused and "on track" because... well... its the holidays... and the fall. Winter is coming... everything is about staying in, keeping warm, eating, snuggling on the couch, etc... and I want to get as much activity as I can and do my best to stay on track. So... let's do this! :)

I thought I would check in, I have been on a roller coaster for the past month... It has been a lot of trial and error, trying to get myself back in the boat I have not quitted completely, but will definitely not meet my last two goals on this challenge. After a lot of 1-2-1's with myself, I figured I have pressured myself so much on all aspects of my life that I have made myself very anxious, which might explain my roller coaster. Anxiety is an ugly monster. I hope to have now beaten this demon, so I can get back on track to lead the balanced and healthy life I have always yearned for.

Congrats to those meeting their goals early! I am really enjoying the fitness challenge and plan to do it again for November. I have exercised every day this month (since I started the challenge on 10/3) except for this past Thurs, Fri, and Sat, while I was sick. But since I don't get sick often, I'm not forseeing any issues getting exercise every day of November. I know our SB challenge ends in a few days, but, anyone that wants to join me for November - good luck :)

Hello all!! Im still around and kicking butt! I have been kicking butt at the fitness everday in October Challenge!

I have plateaued a little bit on myu weight loss, but i had a couple hard weeks (with vacation and then being sick for 4 days) I am now a comfortable size 24! I havent been a 24 since Middle school! Still sticking to it though! I hope that everyone else is doing good too!

Have gotten into a size 12, as mentioned earlier, and it seems I'll be in it for a while. That's not a problem though, as the point is to keep working on drinking water, make good food choices and be as active as I can within my limits.

Went and bought a new skirt and new earrings this past week, as reward for the past year's work, and because I needed a new skirt after losing two sizes. *smiles*

Liz - Sorry to hear about you needing surgery. Hope all goes well. If you are allowed to do upper body, I know that on the biggest loser they had some of them doing punches and also the arm bicycle to keep up their cardio. Just a suggestion.

I'm O-fer on the fitness challenge. I was burning it up with the weights, but this week I just quit. I'm going to have to have surgery, and no walking/biking/elliptical until then, or after - 2 months on crutches in a cast, boot or brace. I pretty much just gave up.

Today I'm trying to re-group, and find a solution. I think I will start by making a menu plan for the week, and going grocery shopping. I can do upper body weights + abs, and I found a couple of chair aerobic workouts (10 min each) on youtube. It won't be for the whole month, but I can do it until my surgery.

Ok, so I have found out why I haven't been feeling too well lately. Why I'm always tired and why I just don't have the energy to do much of anything.


emoticon That's right! My dear husband and I are expecting a new addition to the family! emoticon emoticon We are so excited. I have to set up an appointment next week with my doctor to find out all the details, like due date and such. SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!

I will do one thing today to make my life better.

So far this week has been good. worked out 4 times this week!!!! Have been walking suring my lunch break and Im down 2.5 lbs. Currently 269.5!

Hey girls! I have been getting in my workouts everyday so far - Nix, I LOVE this challenge b/c even on the days when I felt like taking a break, I told myself I have to do it for my Sexy Beast challenge, so I got it in, even if it was only 20min!! YAY!!! I decided that I am going to do a 90day program - it is actually P90 (the one that came before P90X..lol). I am going to try a 3 day clense and then start the program and eat "clean". I put that in quotes b/c I'm not planning on eating clean the way the eating clean team does, I'm just doing to up the fruits and veggies (esp the veggies) and protein and lower the carbs and sugar as much as possible. There's an eating chart that comes with the program, so I'm going to try to eat all foods in the top 3 sections only. Whew...it is going to be interesting =)

Hi all, I am still very on for the last piece of the challenge...unfortunately I have quitted smoking a couple of days ago and it is tough...I never realized how addicted to Nicotine I was! best of luck to everyone XOXO

Good morning ladies

just stopping in to let everyone know I am still alive...

I have been going thru so much and not exercising or eating healthy...

But I started over again and am wanting to see what I can lose by halloween to be a partly sexy beast...LoL I do know this is the skinniest I've been at halloween in over 10 yrs so that is a good thing..

I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to be on here more..

NO more EXCUSES for me..

Hello my darling fellow SB's! Sorry I've been so MIA. I didn't finish September very well, but now I'm back on track with things, so I'm hoping to finish October truly as a SB with you all!! My anniversary is Nov 1st so that will be my motivation this month. I revised my goal slightly based off of my end of Sept. weigh in - gonna shoot for 220 by 10/30 (I won't be able to weigh in on 10/31 since we'll be on our anniversary trip!). As of today, I'm 226.8, so it's very doable!

Good luck to you all in this final stretch of our challenge!!

Hey Girls!
I'm just checking in. I didn't officially exercise this past weekend, but I was active the whole time, running errands and cleaning house. I did 25 minutes of wii fit yesterday morning and walked the dog for 25 minutes this morning. emoticon I'm hoping to drag my butt to the pool tomorrow morning and do some laps!
