I had a better week this week and am steadily trying to get myself back on track. I've found that I've been slacking off and need to put a stop to it before "it" becomes my habit instead of my better eating habits I've worked to form. Anyway, I realize it and am taking steps to address it. A big improvement from where I started 10 months ago!

Half a pound loss this week. Not where I want to be, but better than no loss. I've been on a stricter diet this past week and have been getting up at 5 am every day (well, almost every day) to exercise. So I think the reason weight hasn't come off faster is: 1. building muscle mass, 2. holding water. I know I'm loosing something though ... cause my clothes are looser and my face is noticeably thinner. I'm doing the 21 Day Fix from Beach Body, and today started the second week. The workout was easier today so I was able to incorporate weights where I couldn't do weights last week. I've also started preparing my meals instead of using prepackaged or frozen meals. I'm getting MORE food for fewer calories! It's awesome!

My first challenge! Aiming for 2 pounds a week (except when I'm on vacation -- not about to pass up the local cuisine in Italy!).

SW June 7th: 279.8 (Ugh. UP nearly 2 pounds since last week despite staying on track with food and doing 451 minutes of exercise. Depressing.)
June 14th: Goal 277 / Actual 274.7 (Now we're moving in the right direction!!)
June 21st: Goal 275 / Actual 276 (*sigh* Just keep swimming, just keep swimming . . . )

I am back!!! It has been a roller coaster this last 4 weeks. The good news is when I weighed in yesterday I had only gained 1.6 in that time. Woohoo!! Today I jumped back in with a 30 minute walk and I have a game tonight too. I will update my chart and get back to sizzling!!

Happy Weigh-in Day and Happy Fatherís Day to all the dads out there and the moms who pull double duty!

I was up two pounds this morning. I wasnít expecting a big loss this week because I had such a big loss last week, but some loss would have been nice. Itís my TOM and Iím sure water is playing a big part in the gain because I busted my butt last week! But Iím moving forward and ready to kick butt for next weekís weigh-in! Iím still ahead of my original goals so I am using that as momentum to rock the rest of this challenge!

Hey there, Honeys!

I hope your week was wonderful!

I lost 9 lbs this week! WooHoo! Thatís way more than I expected but it shows the power of increasing water intake after being a lazy bum for months. I pushed my restart button last week and this initial loss is just what I need to motivate me to be the healthy person I know I can be. I donít expect big losses every week, but I am going to work to keep the numbers moving in the right direction!

Not too sure how I will do with the moving into a new house this weekend. Am packing, working and caring for a 14 month old. I will try to go for a walk at least 20-30mins per night with her. Now we just need it to stop raining!! lol. I lose about 1 pound per week, so will keep this going on. I am off for the summer starting June 23rd, so will be able to give more attention/time to working out and preparing better meals.

Today is my start fresh day since itís my first day of summer break and now I have the summer to focus on ME! Already today I have made healthy eating choices and push mowed my yard! Mowing my yard is definitely a major cardio activity! According to my FitBit, mowing my yard is the equivalent of 3 miles and 5 flights of stairs! Thatís a lot of sweat, especially in the sun and heat!

I took my ďbeforeĒ pictures and measurements today! Iíll take more pics and check my measurements each month to see progress in other ways than just the scale!
