Well, I wanted to lose 2 lbs by the end of August. This last week I stayed the same, so this next week I would like to lose 2 lbs. I'm feeling really good about my physical activity level though; I've been active doing something (tennis, biking, walking) almost every day!

i would love to lose 5 pounds. i know i originally wasn't gonna start dieting til september, i figured that since i lost 4 anyways i might as well set a goal and see what happens from there. i would also love to get more connected with my 5 year old, carollynn, there have been some tuff times lately and she is really lashing out and doin things that don't seem to be her. this is also causing more stress for me that i am tryin not to turn to food with.

good thing to try to avoid eating when stressed-
i have been working on this trick my friend told me n it does seem to help.
if you go for food when you get stressed or upset and you know it isn't good for you or you aren't even hungry... drink a tall glass of water instead. the more you drink the less you're gonna want to eat b/c it fills you some.

I'm with you on the stress management. I tend to bury myself in my work instead at the expense of exercise, calm, etc.

I want to drop at least 4 more pounds to put me at 5 for the month - a little short of my original goal of 8 but I did celebrate my birthday this month!!

Also - I need to work on some stress relief techniques. I find that I am turning to food in times of stress.

Short Term Goals:

Lose 25 lbs by my 6th Anniversay - 3/6/2010

Continue drinking a gallon of water daily - including weekends.

Follow my scheduled workout plan.

Great idea posting goals, Pony!

I wnt to increase from 2 fruits/veggies servings per day to 3, and to get a handle on my studying for school so that the stress doesn't make me feel the need to eat-eat-eat-eat-eat!

I want to drop another 2 pounds down to 174. I want to really solidify my exercise routine before I go back to teaching in September.
