I usually do 60 minutes of cardio, but was rushed this morning, so I only did 30 minutes. I did go, though, even though that was all the time I had, I made good use of it! I am proud of myself for that! I have come so far from just a couple of months ago when I would have NEVER made that commitment!!

I haven't checked in for a few days...sorry! Been incredibly busy, but still going at it. See what smiling does...those face muscles really do alot of work!! Proud to see things moving for you!!
I had a bit of a stressed day. My 23 year old daughter that works with me here on the farm decided that she needed to hurry back to the house to check on something,so she jumped on the 4 wheeler and just as she was getting to the house she turned too sharp and was thrown off. My husband took her to the emergency room and it seemed liked FOREVER before they got back... 2 1/2 hours. She has a broken collarbone and a bruised knee that they put a brace on. What did we learn...nothing is too serious that we have to be in such a hurry. I don't think that I even had time to check out today's challenge, but I did get my heart rate way up running to the house. It was still a good day...all is well. Sara emoticon

I've been up & down, but I will meal plan for this week & stick with it. I was thinking of throwing in the towel because I'm not dropping, but I'm not gaining over 182 either, so I guess I'm doing okay. I have done at least 6 days of exercise over these last 2 weeks. I just want to be out of the 180's by the end of this challenge, which may not be a huge # but for me it's been a huge obsticale all year.

Didn't get to strength train today, but helped clean up my friend's house for an hour. And did some shopping at 2 different stores,for about 1 1/2 hrs this morning so I guess those steps count?

Told the barista at Starbucks about Spark People; hope she joins so I'll have someone local to chat with. My mom has said she will join, but she hasn't gotten around to it yet. Walked for an hour tonight. This weekend, I'm going shopping for running shoes so I can start with more intensive training and lose some serious poundage!

60 points. Just finished working. I'm exhausted...lots of running back and forth. I hope this counts as my cardio. Maybe tomorrow I will have time for a real walk/run. I hope this working long days doesn't mess up what I have got going with my regular exercise routine.

I got my husband and dad to jpin but my dad doesnt use it. Which is SOOO unfortunate because hes at least 350 LBS and has had 3 heart attacks. He has a 4th that im not sure if it was a heart attack or not a few weeks ago. If it was one it was minor but he haad to go to the hospitol. He is also diabetic. So I think SP could really help him.

I did my cardio yesteray and planned my meals and im excited about tonights stregth training and I just know my weight is going to move this week!

Once again the menu planning won't happen with our harvest schedule, but I promise to keep it healthy. I did do my 60 minute walk/run, which I cut back a little on the run part because I had a pain in my leg where I bumped it last week and the whole time I had this thought of blood clot letting loose right there on the highway. None of that would have happened, but it did make me think about decluttering my life. Time for a mental, spiritual and physical life cleaning. This too will make me feel lighter. Just like coloring my hair does....I didn't mean to sound so heavy in thought, so I added that to lighten things up...LOL

Back on track.Did menu planning for the week.I treated myself to those Joy Mangano hangers last month so I am getting rid of "if you haven't worn it in 6 months you never will clothes"( mine of course are 10 yrs!!!!)and redoing closets.With my strength it will probably take me till X-mas!

I was MIA for the weekend.

I decluttered a room...my bedroom. I walked 60 minutes for 4 miles Saturday. I walked 75 minutes for 5 miles Sunday. I took my family on a walk around the lake Sunday - 1 mile 30 minutes or so. I also took my son to learn to ride his bike and played around a bit. I set up my menu today and I weighed in 2.5 pounds less!!! YAY!!!

I've already walked 60 minutes for 4 miles this morning and taking my son to ride his bike again this morning. I will work on my stretching this afternoon.

So...I dont have a room to declutter but I did win the most anoying person of 2008 award by decorating for halloween.
I weighted myself yesterday and my weight hasnt bugged. Im stuck at 200 forever lol. ugh
