The shoes do seem pricey. However, if you can see an improvement in your performance when you wear them, then go for it.

I have read both pro and con articles about these new style shoes. As in everything, it seems to be a question of what works. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! $160 a pair? I will stick to my $60 Nikes! I have seen the commercials for the Z-coil shoes. I walk about 150-200 miles a month and replace my shoes about every 3-4 months due to miles. I am doing a virtual walk that I started on 6-16-09 and I am walking 2226.0 miles. I am very close to reaching my goal by Saturday!! I can't believe it! I am soo happy.

being heavy can make you feel limitations on yourself, at 5'3 and 215,weight can be your enemy, since i like to walk alot, I found out finding a good pair of shoes is nearly impossible until I found the new shoe called z-coils, they are rather pricey at about 160.00 a pair, but they are comfortable, you can walk all day with no pain in your feet or blisters, i am not advertising, just from experience, i can walk 3 miles a day when I have the time, they are designed to help relief back pain, leg pain and foot relief, being on my feet all day on concrete, i now own a pair of steel toe boots,WHAT A DIFFERENCE! something to think about! they sell them in Reno at SPRING IN YOUR STEP"
